The essential function of this position is to perform outbound product inspections to ensure product meets customer specifications. Inspections include verification and validation of product, packaging, labeling, sizing and weight.

Full Time Shift: Monday to Friday 10AM – 7PM / Must be willing to work overtime

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Physically inspect product.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to confirm product meets criteria, which includes color, size, condition and weight of produce and accept/reject appropriately.
  • Report non-conformance findings to responsible department Supervisor/Lead.
  • Ensure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customer.

  • Verify that all labeling specifications are adhered to.
  • Flex between Production and Shipping Dock to ensure all “hot” orders are inspected.
  • Collect data and generate a non-compliance report for all items on receiving dock.

  • Performs any other Quality Control Inspection related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • High School degree or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience required. Work experience in a warehouse environment, produce/grocery industry is a plus.
  • Experience in Quality Control/Inspection/Auditor work experience is desired.
  • Ability to use and read measuring devices such as scales, calipers, ruler.
  • Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
